It has always been a clear objective to produce all our products with care for human and nature. All our models are designed in Denmark and manufactured at our own factory in Romania.We aspire to the highest quality, and therefore we demand a strict quality control in the production.Our skilled staff work conscientiously and are conscious of the company’s and the customers’ quality requirements.
Onze wolmix
Glerups begon met wol van hun eigen Gotlandschapen. Door de jaren heen hebben we de perfecte wolmix gevonden om uw Glerups een lang leven te geven. We mengen Gotlandwol uit Denemarken met kwaliteitswol uit Nieuw-Zeeland, die allemaal voldoen aan de hoogste normen voor uniforme kwaliteit en dierenwelzijn. Voor onze pantoffels gebruiken we 100% zuivere, natuurlijke wol, die een zachte leren zool of natuurlijk rubber hebben (behalve de babyschoentjes, die geen buitenzool hebben).

Working with ZQ Merino Ensures that we receive high-quality, ethically sourced wool from farmers who prioritize sustainability and animal welfare. Their wool meets strict standards for environmental care, animal welfare, and fiber quality, guaranteeing that every fiber is traceable and responsibly produced. Wol is temperatuurregulerend
Veel mensen gebruiken wol om warm te blijven, maar wol kan het lichaam juist ook helpen koel te blijven. Dat komt doordat wol vocht absorbeert zonder vochtig aan te voelen, tot wel 70% van het gewicht! - Dit overtreft synthetische vezels of katoen aanzienlijk. Het is vooral voordelig in de zomer, wanneer het buiten warm is. Zo blijf je, ongeacht hoeveel je transpireert, droog en houd je je temperatuur gereguleerd.
Wol wordt al eeuwenlang gebruikt door zowel kinderen als volwassenen. Het heeft een natuurlijk vermogen om zich aan te passen aan de behoeften van het lichaam, ongeacht de weersomstandigheden, en het "reguleert" ook het binnenklimaat in een kamer. NO TO MULESING
By working with ZQ Merino farmers we ensure that they do not use the mulesing method.Mulesing is a controversial practice where strips of skin are removed from a sheep’s rear to prevent flystrike, a condition caused by parasitic flies. While this method is used in some wool industries, ZQ Merino farmers take a more humane and proactive approach to animal care. Instead of mulesing, they use natural breeding selection,ensuring that their sheep have wrinkle-free skin, which significantly reduces the risk of flystrike. They also implement high animal welfare standards, including regular health checks, proper shearing schedules, and providing clean, spacious Environments for their sheep to thrive.
