Men’s green slippers

Get ready for new levels of comfort with men’s green slippers from glerups. Made with 100% natural wool, these slippers are perfect for lazy winter days or even as work attire when the office gets cold during the winter season. Take a look at our selection and be inspired.

Green is the colour of hope

As the winter season begins, the days grow shorter and we are soon enveloped by darkness. This season can sometimes feel gloomy and seem to last forever and it is important that we remember to expose ourselves to colours and brightness these days. Although our green footwear is of a darker hue, it still resembles the green, which will greet us again when spring comes around and remind us that everything is going to be alright. And with the additional level of comfort and cosiness provided by this footwear, the wintry gloom has no choice but to flee the scene.

A wool blend like no other

What makes footwear from glerups stand out from other leisure footwear, is the unique wool blend that we have spent years refining. Going back and forth between different types and blends, we landed on the perfect mix of wool from Danish Gotland sheep and wool from New Zealand. This wool blend is bursting with natural benefits, giving them an extraordinary level of comfort unlike any other. You see, the wool is not only soft against your skin, it actually makes the footwear wearable all year round. This is because of the fibres in the wool, which are heat regulating, meaning they will keep the cold away from your feet on winter days, but keep your feet cool, dry and comfy during the summer time.

The wool absorbs any excess heat, moisture and even odour for that matter. All of this is then released again, when you allow the slippers to rest for a while, this being done in a place with fresh air for the best result. After a while, the slippers will feel fresh and good as new again. This leads us to another benefit of these slippers – the wool blend mixed with the sturdy design of the slippers, makes them last for more than just a single season. This is provided that you take the time to take good care of them, which is easily done. Just follow the simple guidelines as described here and you will be able to enjoy your slippers for a long time.

The Langdal

We like to attribute a great amount of our success as producers of footwear to the fact that we always take the time to listen to our fans all over the world and what they think about our footwear – both likes and dislikes. And one thing we were often met with, was the request for a “real shoe”, made with the same passion and comfort of our leisure footwear. Well, we went back to the drawing board and came up with the perfect solution. Introducing the Langdal, a sneaker shoe with laces and our first “real shoe”.

This shoes embodies the expression ethical elegance. It is made partially with coconut fibres, a waste product from the food industry, which turned out to be the perfect ingredient for making a mid and inner sole for shoes. They have the same feeling of comfort and leisure as our other footwear and are perfect for work, school, college or just a day spent out with friends and family. They come in brown, charcoal, grey, cream and light green, making it easy to find a colour that matches your personal style.
