A wool blend like no other
A real pride and joy at glerups is our wool blend, which has been developed and refined over the years. The blend consists of wool from Danish Gotland sheep and wool from New Zealand. It has immense natural properties that make for the perfect slippers for both kids and grownups. Firstly, it has a softness like none you have ever experienced before. Wool can feel itchy and uncomfortable, but not our blend. Due to the process of the wool, while making it into slippers, the wool’s natural softness really comes out, making the wearer feel like they are walking on a cloud. Then, we have the fibres of the wool, where the real magic happens. These fibres help the feet to stay warm on cold days, but can simultaneously lead any excess heat away from the feet, providing the wearer with comfy feet, no matter the circumstances. It also helps with keeping the skin healthy, even when worn for longer periods of time. This is because the fibres of the wool have a molecular structure in close proximity to that of human skin, meaning less irritation and healthier feet. The fibres can also absorb any excess moisture or even odour, leading it away from the skin, causing less irritation.
The soles for the kids' slippers are made of natural leather, which provides a natural, sturdy support for small feet roaming around the house. Measure your kids’ feet from heel to the tip of the longest toe and then add 10 mm’s, so that their feet will have room to grow and find the size matching the measurement in the chart and then you are ready to order, just pick the colour your kid likes and add to cart.
